A World to Weep

It is not for me this life to keep
For this, there is no point to weep

A drop of thought is not alone
In an ocean deep and full of souls

The social fabric that I must bare
I dare to make my mind aware

I ask out loud, “Why am I here?”
The answer surely I will not fear

I look within and shout out loud
The things around me are but a shroud

Of all the things that matter most
My deeds to others, the love I host

T’is true that life is here, but brief
The afterlife, is beyond belief

If only I could be all things
I’d have the knowledge, to fuel my wings

And when my time comes to an end
I will go on, spacetime I’ll bend
